Linisher Operatives
Location - Sittingbourne, Kent
Temporary - Permanent
Salary - £12.41 per hour - Overtime is paid at time and a half.
Shift pattern: 6 am-2 pm and 2 pm-10 pm OR a fixed shift of 6 am till 2 pm

My client a prominent player in the metal finishing industry is actively seeking to hire a Metal Finisher to join their expanding team.
Full training is provided; however, the ideal candidate will be able to use a variety of hand tools including hand grinders, drills, and wire cutters.
Duties and responsibilities for the role of Linisher Operative
- General handling of metal products
- Hand wiring and grinding of products
- Involvement in the metal finishing process
- Inspection of products to ensure excellent quality products are produced for customers
- Maintain a safe and tidy work environment
- Manual handling - heavy lifting will be part of this position
Person specification for the role of Linisher Operative
- Positive with a can-do attitude
- Happy to work in a physically demanding position
- Able to work as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- Previous experience in working in manufacturing, production, yard operative or similar roles
