Astute's Power team is partnering with a Leading Operator for their Operational waste to energy facility based in Sittingbourne. We are currently recruiting an Assistant Shift Team Leader for a 6 months contract
The Assistant Shift Team Leader position comes with a day rate from 375.00 to 400.00 (Inside IR35)
Key skills
- Assist the Shift Team leader in ensuring the safe, compliant and efficient operation of the plant when on duty.
- Support the Shift Team Leader to operate and improve the facility in accordance with our clients standards and goals.
- Assist in the provision of reports and analysis of operational Key Performance Indicators and incidents.
- Monitor consumables.
- Understanding of current environmental and health and safety issues minimum IOSH Managing Safely.
- Experience of process operations in a mechanical & electrical plant and relevant engineering.
- IT literate.
- Experience gained through working in a continuous process environment, preferably with experience of working shifts.
- Ability to operate, or train to operate a variety of mobile equipment and fixed plant.
- Prepared to work a continuous rotating shift pattern, including adequate voluntary overtime to cover the workload and maintain operational availability.
