Our client is a well-established, family-run garage based in Sittingbourne with over 25 years of successful trading. We're looking for an experienced motor trade Service Advisor to join our dedicated and welcoming team.

Our client is highly passionate about doing the right thing for customers; they want you to treat every customer and car like it is your own, so they won't be asking you to upsell unnecessarily.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Interaction: Act as the first point of contact for customers, providing advice and guidance on vehicle servicing and repairs.
  • Booking Appointments: Schedule and manage service bookings, ensuring efficient use of workshop time.
  • Estimates & Invoicing: Provide accurate quotes for services and repairs, and handle invoicing and payment processing.
  • Liaising with Technicians: Communicate customer requirements and job progress with the workshop team to ensure timely and quality service.
  • Customer Updates: Keep customers informed of the progress of their vehicles, including any issues or additional repairs needed.
  • Maintaining Records: Ensure all service records and customer details are accurately logged and up to date.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience: Previous experience in a customer service or service advisor role within the motor industry is essential, but we will provide comprehensive external and in-house training schemes to enhance your skill set.
  • Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a busy environment.
  • Customer-Focused: A friendly and professional approach to customer care, with a genuine interest in helping people.
  • Team Player: Ability to work well within a small team, with a proactive and positive attitude.
  • Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy in quotes, records, and customer communication.
