Our client, a leading aerospace engineering firm based in Rochester, are looking to recruit Production Operatives in their Core Box Department to assist in the manufacturing, finishing and testing of their products.
As a Core Production Operative main duties will include:
- Packing "core boxes" with foundry sand
- Using hand tools to ensure an even distribution of sand throughout the core.
- Selecting the appropriate materials required for each job.
- Quality checking products
- Reporting any issues with production machinery to team leaders
- Ensuring the work area is clean and tidy
The ideal Production Operative will have:
- Experience in a manufacturing warehouse/production environment
- A good work ethic, strong attention to detail and excellent time keeping skills
- You must be physically fit as the role may involve periods of standing and some manual lifting to move parts around the factory floor
- Safety boots, all other PPE provided
Hours of work
Monday - Thursday 0730-1600 Fri 0730 - 1330
