Our client, with an excellent reputation in the Kent market, are seeking to appoint an experienced Finance Analyst on a permanent basis, as they enter an exciting new chapter. This is a newly created role which, will have high exposure as it partners with the wider business.
The role will focus on providing first-class financial analysis, support and advice to the Finance Director and non-finance stakeholders. Offering 4 days working in the office and 1 day working from home.
Key Duties will include -
- Perform financial analysis and modelling to support and deliver improvements.
- Lead in the preparation of monthly management accounts
- Develop and maintain financial models and dashboards to monitor the key performance indicators within the business.
- Lead in the preparation of budgets, forecasts and financial plans
- Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects as required, providing actionable recommendations to senior management and working groups
- Analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and enhance operational efficiency
- Assist with providing information required as part of the external audit process.
The ideal candidate will be -
- Ideally qualified or part-qualified in ACCA, ACA or CIMA
- Analytical/Business Partner experience ideally with exposure to large sets of data with a demonstrated track record in supporting the business.
- Excellent commercial and business experience
- The ideal candidate will be someone who enjoys being hands-on and working on ad-hoc projects
- Effective communication skills
- Advanced Excel skills
