Finance Analyst | East Kent | Up to £55k

Our client, with an excellent reputation in the Kent market, are seeking to appoint an experienced Finance Analyst on a permanent basis, as they enter an exciting new chapter. This is a newly created role which, will have high exposure as it partners with the wider business.

The role will focus on providing first-class financial analysis, support and advice to the Finance Director and non-finance stakeholders. Offering 4 days working in the office and 1 day working from home.

Key Duties will include -

  • Perform financial analysis and modelling to support and deliver improvements.
  • Lead in the preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Develop and maintain financial models and dashboards to monitor the key performance indicators within the business.
  • Lead in the preparation of budgets, forecasts and financial plans
  • Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects as required, providing actionable recommendations to senior management and working groups
  • Analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and enhance operational efficiency
  • Assist with providing information required as part of the external audit process.

The ideal candidate will be -

  • Ideally qualified or part-qualified in ACCA, ACA or CIMA
  • Analytical/Business Partner experience ideally with exposure to large sets of data with a demonstrated track record in supporting the business.
  • Excellent commercial and business experience
  • The ideal candidate will be someone who enjoys being hands-on and working on ad-hoc projects
  • Effective communication skills
  • Advanced Excel skills
