Fractional CFO | 1-2 days per week (for up to 1 year) | Day rate £500 - £750 DOE | Sittingbourne

Cobb and Jones Recruitment are partnered with a successful, privately-owned product-based business based near Sittingbourne, supporting them in their search for an experienced Fractional CFO or Fractional Finance Director to support their growing business on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for a finance leader with a strong track record of success in process optimisation, strategic financial planning, and team mentoring and will be required for 1-2 days per week for up to a year.

Responsibilities:

• Optimise financial processes and implement best practices to enhance efficiency.
• Support and build on the Group’s strategic vision with financial insight and guidance.
• Mentor and develop a small finance team, fostering professional growth and capability.
• Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting to ensure financial health.
• Provide commercial and operational financial leadership to senior stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and risk management policies.

Profile:

• Proven experience as a Fractional CFO or Fractional Finance Director with demonstrable success.
• Strong background in process optimisation, strategic finance, and business growth.
• Exposure to a product-based business will be vital - manufacturing, wholesale, distribution, FMCG.
• Ability to provide high-level financial insights and strategic decision-making support.
• Experience in mentoring and leading small finance teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work flexibly and adapt to a dynamic business environment.

On Offer:

• £500 - £750 per day (through Ltd Co. outside of IR35)
• 1-2 days per week for up to 1 year, hybrid working
