We are seeking a skilled and reliable Flexi/Bendi Forklift Driver to join our team in Sittingbourne. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the smooth operation of our warehouse, ensuring that pharmaceutical products are handled and stored safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate Flexi/Bendi forklifts to load, unload, and move products within the warehouse.
- Safely stack and unstack pallets in high-density storage systems.
- Perform routine checks and maintenance on forklift equipment to ensure optimal operation.
- Accurately pick and pack pharmaceutical products according to order requirements.
- Assist with inventory management, including stock checks and stock rotation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily operational targets.
- Follow company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid Flexi/Bendi Forklift license and experience operating these types of forklifts.
- Proven experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Physical ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting and moving heavy items.
- Understanding of health and safety regulations in a warehouse setting.
