Estimator

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labour, and equipment, ensuring compliance with tender specifications and deadlines.
  • Analyse project plans and specifications to assess costs, risks, and opportunities, delivering value-driven recommendations.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to gather pricing information and build competitive proposals.
  • Identify potential project risks and incorporate strategies to address them in cost forecasts.
  • Provide innovative suggestions to optimise budgets while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Work closely with the pre-construction, design, bid and project management teams to ensure estimates align with project goals and timelines.

Estimator

Requirements:

  • A proven track record as an Estimator within the M&E building services sector. Construction, engineering, or a related industry experience will also be considered.
  • Strong technical knowledge of construction methods, materials, and processes.
  • Proficiency in estimation software and tools.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
