We have a ETP Process Tester position available within the DS Smith in Kemsley Mill.

Role - ETP Process TesterPay - £14.30 per hour, £20.25 per hour for Weekend, Unpaid breaksLocation - DS Smith Paper Ltd - Kemsley Mill, Kemsley Mill, Sittingbourne,. ME10 2TDJob Type - Contructal, Initially for 6 months with possibilities of extensionShift Hours - Flexible Hours, 6am to 2pm, Rotational, 4 on 4 off (including weekends at 1.5x rate.) One 15 minute morning break and one 30 minute lunchbreak, both unpaid (off timesheet).Start: ASAP

Responsibilities:(not limited to)Collect and prepare samples from the wastewater treatment plant for various laboratory tests, analyze results, and report findings to the operations team.Develop knowledge to support plant operations.Support optimal water and waste processes, contribute improvement ideas, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.Maintain effective communication and participate in training as needed.

Essential Experience:Laboratory/analytical/MS Excel experience is essentialAbility to work in adverse conditions (darkness, cold, wet, and alone).Physically able to lift samples (up to 15kg) and carry samples some distance.Driving Licence is essential.

Desired Experience:Knowledge of wastewater treatment process layout and sample point locations.Engage in a mix of outdoor sample collection and indoor laboratory testing.
