HR and Payroll Administrator

We are seeking a dedicated HR and Payroll Administrator to support our HR team in the Fresh Produce sector. This role involves a variety of administrative and coordination tasks to help deliver our HR strategy effectively. This is a multi-site role, requiring a current UK driving license and your own transport.

Day-to-day of the role of HR Administrator 
  • Manage new starter administration, including offer letters, paperwork, and inductions.
  • Process incoming and outgoing reference requests.
  • Handle weekly and monthly payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and timely BACS payments.
  • Assist employees and managers with queries.
  • Support HR and L&D projects and maintain document control systems.
  • Ensure data integrity across HRIS and payroll systems.
  • Monitor site compliance with ETI Base Code.
  • Organise and coordinate employee engagement activities.
  • Provide reception cover as needed and support ad-hoc administrative duties.
Required Skills & Qualifications of HR Administrator 
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Experience in payroll and HR administration.
  • CIPD Level 3 certificate in Human Resource Practice is advantageous.
