Pearson Whiffin are recruiting for a Merchandiser on behalf of one of our manufacturing clients based in Mid Kent. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role, have strong Excel skills, the ability to juggle multiple priorities simultaneously and excellent analytical skills.

This role has become available due to growth so it’s a busy yet exciting time to be joining the business!

Duties for this role include but are not limited to:

· Maintenance of stock to ensure customer orders are fulfilled on time.

· Building strong relationships with factories and suppliers across the UK, Asia and Far East.

· Raising and maintaining purchase orders to ensure on time delivery by working with overseas and UK suppliers, considering MOQ/ lead times/holidays etc.

· Analysing reports.

· Forecasting analysis.

· Maintaining the database ensuring information is updated and entered accurately.

To be considered for this role, you will have/be:

· Previous experience within a purchasing/merchandiser role.

· Confident in managing overseas suppliers.

· Strong Excel skills to include formulas, functions, v look ups, pivot tables etc.

· Good analytical skills with the ability to analyse large sets of data.

· Excellent communication skills and able to build strong working relationships.

· Able to work well in a fast-paced environment.
