Production Scheduler

Working closely with colleagues across Procurement, Planning and Production, this varied Production Scheduler role offers a fantastic opportunity to make a significant impact within a friendly and dedicated team, striving for excellence in our industry.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Determine production requirements based on plant capacity and product specifications.
  • Convert production forecasts into a fully resourced manufacturing schedule.
  • Provide a 4-week rolling plan and schedule work orders accurately.  Update and maintain the ERP system with all necessary work order details.
  • Liaise with various departments including Finance and Production to optimize scheduling and financial outcomes.
  • Coordinate with the Procurement Department to manage material lead times and address potential dispatch delays.
  • Conduct regular meetings to track production schedules, ensuring customer service and product availability.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in production planning and scheduling within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong multitasking abilities and a solution-driven approach.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Full UK driving licence and own vehicle due to the need to travel between sites (both locally based).
