We are seeking an Engineering Supervisor to join a leading FMCG manufacturer based in Sittingbourne. This role is ideal for a candidate with strong leadership qualities and hands-on mechanical and electrical knowledge, looking to advance their career in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Day-to-day of the Engineering Supervisor role:- Oversee and lead the engineering team, ensuring efficient operation and maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Actively participate in hands-on maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure optimal plant operation.
- Implement and supervise maintenance schedules, ensuring compliance with safety standards and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with other departments to improve processes and reduce downtime.
- Train and develop team members, enhancing their skills and performance.
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical or electrical background, with hands-on experience in both areas preferred.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, capable of motivating and leading a team.
- Experience in FMCG industry is highly advantageous.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and make informed decisions.
