Are you a Mechanical Engineer, with a background working in the Construction industry, looking for an autonomous and varied role in a well-established Engineering Consultancy, where you will work on cutting-edge projects?

This company has steadily expanded since its inception in 1998 and is now a leading Building Services Engineering Consultancy thanks to their sustainable and energy efficient approach. Though they have grown, they maintain their tight-knit feel and culture meaning you have the stability of working for a larger company, as well as the feeling of being valued that comes from a smaller company.

In this varied role you would take on a range of responsibilities from HVAC and System Design to Project Management to Installation and Maintenance. You would be working closely with other mechanical engineers, architects, and electrical and structural engineers to integrate mechanical systems into buildings, and to ensure smooth delivery of projects. You would also be responsible for overseeing testing, installation and maintenance of all mechanical aspects of projects. This is an office-based, Monday to Friday role, 9am-5:30pm, with the opportunity to be flexible with your hours further down the line.

This role would suit a Mechanical Engineer, with a background in Construction, looking to take on a critical role in a leading consultancy, where you will have the opportunity to further your skills and progress both personally and professionally.

The Role:

• System Design (HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Protection, Energy Efficiency and Sustainability).
• Work with other Mechanical Engineers and liaise with other stakeholders in the project management lifecycle.
• Test and maintenance of Mechanical Systems.

The Person:

• Mechanical Engineer in the Construction industry.
• Proficient in CAD/BIM Software.
• Commutable to Sittingbourne.
