Pearson Whiffin are actively looking for graduates from a range of subject backgrounds to work with schools in the Sittingbourne (and wider Kent) area, offering subject cover or general classroom support. In school opportunities to cover both short and long-term roles with competitive pay rates are available with immediate starts. Specialists who have significant knowledge or experience in teaching subjects such as English Lit/ Lang, Maths, Science, PE or Design and Technology would be highly sought after.

Graduate cover supervisors provide schools with academic support in the absence of qualified teachers and ensure that students are getting the best level of education at all times.  Support and guidance can be provided and taster days are available for graduates with little or no practical experience.  This role could prove to be a good step for graduates considering a career in teaching or seeking to move into SEND or similar classroom-based jobs.
