MFL Teacher (French & Spanish Specialist) – Full-Time, Flexible Supply Contract – Sittingbourne

Start Date: ASAP until Christmas (possibility of extending to July 2025)

Supply Desk are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic MFL teacher, specialising in French and Spanish, for a full-time, flexible supply contract at a large, Ofsted-rated ‘good’ co-educational secondary school in Sittingbourne. This position is initially offered until Christmas, with strong potential for extension for the right candidate. It’s an ideal opportunity for an experienced and versatile teacher passionate about delivering high-quality language education across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the ability to teach Key Stage 5 as an advantage.

About the Role: As a specialist in both French and Spanish, you will play a key role in inspiring a love of languages among students. Working collaboratively within the Modern Foreign Languages department and with school leadership, you’ll be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, tracking student progress, and potentially contributing to extracurricular language activities.

We are looking for a teacher who:

• Specialises in French and Spanish, confident in teaching students across a range of abilities at Key Stages 3 and 4, with Key Stage 5 experience being advantageous.
• Is passionate about languages and fosters active participation and enthusiasm in both classroom and extracurricular settings.
• Is organised, detail-oriented, and capable of managing all aspects of lesson planning, delivery, and student progress tracking.
• Enjoys working as part of a collaborative team, supporting departmental and school-wide goals for student success.
• Lives locally to Sittingbourne or within a reasonable commuting distance and is open to a full-time, flexible supply contract.
