Purchasing/Supply Chain Executive

Are you a detail-oriented and proactive individual with a passion for purchasing and supply chain management? We are looking for a Purchasing Assistant to join our client's dynamic team.

Key Duties:

  • Purchase goods in line with required delivery dates from UK and international suppliers.
  • Monitor stock levels and identify purchasing needs.
  • Analyse reports and forecast data
  • Maintain accurate records of orders, suppliers, and stock quantities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Assist with setting up new products and supporting the Head of Supply Chain.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience in buying, purchasing
  • Strong administrative skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Analytical mindset with good numerical skills and intermediate Excel proficiency.
  • Commercial awareness and ability to spot trends that impact stock levels.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, staying calm under pressure.
  • Team player with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Experience managing overseas suppliers, particularly in the Far East (desirable).
