  • Our client is seeking a Site Agent for a £30 million project at Sizewell C, focusing primarily on environmental sheet piling.
  • The role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position and a relevant HNC/HND in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
  • Key responsibilities include managing work schedules, overseeing on-site personnel, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Candidates must demonstrate the ability to handle contract variations, engage with local community groups, and maintain compliance with safety legislation.
  • The successful applicant will be expected to build strong client relationships and effectively manage multiple complex sites.

Due to new project wins, our client is currently recruiting for a Site agent to join the project team for a 30million package of works on Sizewell C.

The scheme involves a variety of heavy civils but predominantly environmental sheet piling for a minimum of 18 months.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, track, and manage work schedules to ensure project timelines are met.
  • Oversee the management of on-site personnel and subcontractors.
  • Evaluate and engage subcontractors as needed for project success.
  • Develop method statements, risk assessments, and project management plans.
  • Ensure contracts are completed on time and within profitability targets.
  • Monitor contract costs in relation to tender allowances and stay within budgetary constraints.
  • Coordinate and manage all aspects of design.
  • Handle and manage contract variations effectively.
  • Engage with and inform local community groups when required.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, fostering a positive reputation.

Requirements:

  • HNC / HND in Civil Engineering ( or equivalent)
  • Experience in similar role
  • Ability to prioritise own workload
  • Able to run multiple complex and non-complex sites
  • Maintain comprehensive records.
  • Have compliance with current legislation requirements, including the production and implementation of RAMs and other associated safety/project documentation.
  • The ability to forecast cost and programme
