Experience in a similar role or working with fibreglass is required for this position. Full training will be provided to enhance your skills and ensure you meet the specific needs of the role.
What will I be paid?
The hourly rate starts at 12.39 per hour. This may increase after a successful probation period and upon completion of training (subject to performance and company policy).
What hours will I be working?
Your working week will be Monday to Friday.
- Monday to Thursday: 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM
- Friday: 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
- Occasional work outside normal business hours may be required to meet the demands of the role.
What will my duties be?
- Use finishing tools (e.g., sanding discs, grinders, buffers) to complete gel coat finishing tasks.
- Identify and repair fiberglass imperfections such as scratches, pinholes, and mould defects.
- Diagnose and repair used products, ensuring they meet safety and quality standards.
- Clean, polish, and repaint to restore condition and appearance.
- Conduct safety checks and inspections in line with company protocols.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe working environment always.
- Plan tasks to deliver consistent, high-quality work within set timescales.
What skills & experience do I need?
- Previous experience working with fibreglass is required.
- Proficiency with hand, air pressure and power tools.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in finishing and refurbishment work.
- Ability to commute to Skegness.
