Overview
Our client are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager for a temporary role for 8 months to oversee a new build college. This is a fantastic opportunity.
Key site management responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations on the construction site, ensuring the project is completed on time, within scope and within budget.
- Co-ordinate and supervise construction workers and subcontractors
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Monitor and report of project progress identifying and addressing any issues that arise.
- Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
- Maintain site documentation, including site diary, progress reports, and health and safety.
- Oversee the procurement of materials and equipment necessary for the project
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure high-quality standards are maintained.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Civils Foreman
- Strong knowledge of civils processes, health and safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
- Valid SMSTS/ SSSTS, CSCS card and first aid (optional).
- Full PPE
