Join Our Team as a Commercial Conveyancing Fee Earner

Salary: £30,000 - £50,000 (depending on experience)

Reporting to: Head of Department and HR Director

Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch break)

Location: Skegness, Lincolnshire (with the option for flexible remote work)

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Conveyancing Fee Earner to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will manage a diverse caseload within our commercial conveyancing department, working closely with the Head of Department to drive the success of our team in alignment with our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Full Caseload Management: Handle a range of commercial conveyancing matters from inception to completion with minimal supervision, demonstrating sound judgement and independent decision-making.
  • Quality Assurance: Execute fee-earning tasks with accuracy and reliability, adhering to our quality risk management procedures while effectively managing client expectations.
  • Financial Oversight: Maintain proper control over work in progress, billing, and fee recovery to ensure the financial health of your caseload.
  • Organisational Skills: Juggle multiple tasks efficiently, meeting deadlines without compromising quality.
  • Client-Focused Communication: Utilise excellent communication skills to foster strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Legal Expertise: Conduct thorough legal research and drafting with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Team Leadership: Assist the Head of Department in mentoring and managing junior team members to support their professional growth.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay informed about legal developments and changes, ensuring compliance with CPD requirements.
