Solicitor/Fee Earner/Paralegal - Wills & Probate

Our client based in Skegness, Lincolnshire, which provides a comprehensive range of legal services to clients across Lincolnshire, the East Midlands and beyond is looking to recruit a Fee Earner. They have an outstanding reputation in both commercial and private client services.

This role will suit a qualified Solicitor or Member of Cilex, or an unqualified Paralegal/Fee Earner with a minimum of 2 years' experience of directly handing wills and probate cases from start to finish.

Solicitor/Fee Earner/Paralegal Benefits:

  • Salary up to 40k DOE
  • Location: Skegness, Lincolnshire - Hybrid working - 3 days in the office & 2 days home working
  • Hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm - Flexible working, including flexible start and end times outside of the company's core hours (9am - 5pm); homeworking options, and additional holiday leave accrual options.

Solicitor/Fee Earner/Paralegal Criteria:

You will join a thriving private client department, where you will have a varied mix of cases relating to private client work.

In order to be considered for this role, your application must reflect that you have a minimum of 2 years' experience of handling a range of Will cases from start to finish with minimal supervision, including advising on and drafting of the following:

  • Wills
  • Power of Attorney applications
  • Court of Protection applications

The successful candidate will be trained to undertake the following areas:

  • Probate
  • Trusts
  • Estate Planning
  • Wealth Management and Inheritance Tax

The successful candidate will be:

  • IT literate with ability to work effectively on a case management system
  • Able to work well as a team, as well as being able to work on your own initiative
