We are currently recruiting for a Transport Planner on behalf of our well established client in Burghle Marsh. This is a full time, permanent position.

Shift pattern: 4 on 4 off. working 10 Hour Days.

As a Transport Planner, you will be responsible for managing and optimising transport operations specific to the poultry sector, ensuring efficient logistics and timely deliveries to meet operational demands.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and coordinate transportation routes and schedules to optimise delivery efficiency.
  • Monitor and analyse transport performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure transport planning aligns with packing operations.
  • Maintain accurate records of transport activities and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
  • Communicate effectively with drivers, clients, and other stakeholders to address any issues.
  • Support the continuous improvement of transport operations through data analysis and feedback.
