Role Highlights:
* SEND/SEMH Teaching Assistant role, supporting children in the classroom or on 1-1 basis.
* Full-time role, 8:30am-3.30pm Monday-Friday.
* 84 - 96 per day, dependent on experience and qualifications.
* Start date: ASAP
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with a class teacher and support staff to design and implement learning schemes and interventions for primary and secondary students either in a SEND or in a mainstream school .
You will adapt resources to cater for individual learning styles and promote independent learning. You will be a positive role model to the student and set appropriate targets to boost confidence and self-esteem.
It is important that you have good knowledge of national Curriculum, Special Educational Needs such as Autism, ADHD, SEMH needs and behavioural disorders to be able to support pupils in your class effectively.
