Dover Fueling Solutions are looking to recruit a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our growing team on a full time, permanent basis based in Skelmersdale.

The engineering team at Dover Fueling Solutions are responsible for building, improving and maintaining our wetstock management platform. This platform assists fuel retailers around the globe to manage their forecourts and fuel by managing their data.

The ideal candidate will have experience in automation testing and hand-on experiences with tools like C#, Javascript, Python, SQL and Postman. Working alongside experienced engineers you will support the testing team with automation, performance, load and regression testing to ensure product reliability, functionality and a positive user experience.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Have strong customer service skills and the ability to work within strict deadlines.
  • Able to work in a team environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Experience writing test plans, strategies and test cases.
  • Strong testing skills including diagnosing, reporting, tracking and resolving quality issues.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly highlight risks/issues and report testing effectiveness.
  • Experience writing automatic test in C#, Java, JavaScript or Python
  • Experience working with SQL.
  • Hands on experience with functional and automation for both web applications and back-end services.
  • Experience with commercial Test Management/Defect tracking tools
  • Experience in using Postman.
