My client are a reputable manufacturer of safety products. They have an urgent need for an experienced and motivated Quality Engineer for an on-site role to join their team in Skelmersdale on an initial 12 month contract, where they have automated and semi-automated assembly. This role is pivotal in driving process improvement and ensuring product excellence.

About the Role:

As Quality Engineer, you will play a crucial role in initiating and implementing quality initiatives across the program. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading projects to develop new or improved products, processes, or systems
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives
  • Conducting quality audits and analysis
  • Utilizing statistical tools to identify and resolve quality issues
  • Implementing quality systems and processes
  • Providing quality expertise and guidance to the team

About You:

  • Existing Quality Engineer experience from a manufacturing environment
  • Proficiency in statistical tools and quality methodologies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A proven ability to lead and collaborate effectively
  • A degree in a relevant scientific or engineering discipline
