Description

  • Quality Assurance: Developing, implementing, and maintaining quality assurance protocols and procedures to ensure products meet customer specifications and industry standards.

  • Problem Resolution: Leading efforts to resolve customer-driven quality issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.

  • Process Improvement: Analysing production processes to identify areas for improvement, aiming to enhance efficiency and product quality.

  • Compliance Monitoring: Ensuring adherence to internal and external quality standards, including ISO certifications and customer-specific requirements.

  • Documentation: Maintaining accurate records of quality inspections, audits, and corrective actions taken.

  • Training: Providing training to staff on quality standards and best practices to foster a culture of quality within the organisation.

Profile

  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field is typically required.
  • A clear understanding of Control Plans, PSW, PPAP and FMEA's is a must.
  • A candidate with certifications such as ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or Six Sigma would be highly valued.
  • Automotive Industry Experience: Understanding automotive quality standards, customer requirements, and working with OEMs will be a significant asset.
  • Quality Assurance & Control: The candidate should have experience implementing and maintaining quality assurance protocols, conducting inspections, and leading audits to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Proven experience with root cause analysis, implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and resolving quality issues effectively.
  • Process Improvement: A solid background in using tools like Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or Kaizen for continuous process improvement, reducing defects, and enhancing product quality.
