HGV 1 driver

Are you an experienced HGV Driver looking for a new role in Skelmersdale?

We are Searching for HGV Class 1 (C+E) drivers to start work with us on a contract for an established company with immaculate brand new vehicles. You will be working a refrigerated trailer and self tipping light cargo to stores for delivery or RDC's. The driver must be willing to do long shifts up to 14 hours.

We have a mix of day shifts, night and weekend work available and we are looking for the right drivers to start driving for us immediately.

DUTIES (Class 1 Driver)

· Being client facing, reliable & knowledgeable.

· Driving to multiple RDC's across the UK

· Completing vehicle checks and reporting any defects.

· Liaising with customers and clients in a professional and proficient manner

ENHANCED RATE FOR UMBRELLA DRIVERS

SKILLS (HGV Class 1)

· Valid HGV (C+E) licences with appropriate endorsements.

· Proven experience as a HGV Driver.

· Valid CPC.

· Excellent driving skills and a maximum of 6 points.

· Ability to navigate using GPS or other routing systems.

· Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately.
