Working for a global organisation and joining their data function that is based in the North West of England. Main initiatives will be solving problems, optimising operations and utilising machine learning.What you'll be doing:
- Work with product owners, engineers and data scientists to understand the domain and data
- Data modelling and cleansing
- Store and manage large data sets whilst ensuring it is accessible
- Utilise the latest data tools and technologies
- Present and communicate solutions to stakeholders
- Carry out training and coaching to teams
- Proactively approach to utilising SaaS solutions
Experience to succeed:
- Degree in Computer Science related subject
- Working knowledge of Big Data processing - Databricks using Apache Kafka, Spark Streaming etc.
- Current knowledge of Cosmos and MongoDB
- Experience using Python for data modelling
- Knowledge of ETL and related tools
- Worked with Cloud computing platforms
- Good people skills and comfortable collaborating with different functions
Benefits:
- Salary £35,000-45,000
