Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and qualified Domestic Electrician to join our team in Skelmersdale. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of electrical tasks, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards of safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform day-to-day electrical repairs in domestic settings
- Install wet rooms, including showers, lighting, and fans
- Conduct electrical work on void properties to prepare them for new tenants
- Carry out Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR) and remedial works as required
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a domestic electrician
- Proficiency in installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment
- Strong knowledge of the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Competency in testing and inspecting electrical installations, holding the 2391 qualification
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach
