My client is seeking a Roofers mate to join their Responsive team in the West Lancashire area, within the Social Housing sector.
The role involves undertaking roofing repair and renewal works while ensuring effective communication with schedulers, residents, and line managers.
Candidates should have a passion for roofing, effective communication skills, and the ability to problem solve and multitask, along with a valid driving license.
This is a full-time, flexible, and permanent position offering a salary of £24,000.
Experience in a related field is preferred, and applicants should be willing to learn and stay updated with technical and legal requirements.

My client is an established business who operate within the Social Housing sector and are looking for a Roofers mate to join their Responsive team within the West Lancashire area. In this role as a roofer's mate, you will be working in conjunction with one of their existing social housing partners.

Key responsibilities will include:

Undertake repair/renewal roofing works.
Communicate effectively with the scheduler, residents, and line manager.
Work safely and in compliance with Health & Safety and safeguarding requirements.
Remain up to date with technical and legal requirements of skill area.
Work in partnership with other operatives to complete repairs when required.
Complete work sheets detailing work undertaken and materials used after each job undertaken, via a PDA.

Experience required

We are looking for you to have a passion for roofing and be willing to learn. To be successful in the role you will be an effective communicator with the ability to problem solve and multitask.? A driving license in essential.

This is a full time/flexible, permanent role with a salary of £24k and benefits.
