CareerMakers Recruitment is currently looking for a Steel Fixer on behalf of our client based in Skelmersdale, WN8 AREA.
Responsibilities:
- Reading and interpreting complex drawings to determine the type and dimensions of steel required
- Measuring, cutting, bending, threading, welding, bolting or otherwise assembling and joining together various types of metals and alloys
- Working with concrete and construction materials
- Operating welding equipment to fuse metal segments
- Inspecting completed work for conformance to blueprint specifications and quality standards
- Clipping, wiring or welding structural steel materials into place
Skills:
- Previous experience in construction and factory settings
- Previous experience working with concrete
Working hours:Mon - Fri, 07:00AM to 17:00PM
