Astute's Renewable team are exclusively partnering with Haarslev Industries, a leading provider of rendering and process solutions globally, to recruit for an Area Sales Manager for the UK and Ireland.

The Area Sales Manager role comes with a salary of 45,000- 50,000, company vehicle/ car allowance and commission.

Responsibilities and duties
Reporting to the UK General Manager, will be responsible for:

• Conducting visits with existing and potential clients, showcasing, and selling innovative Haarslev products and services.
• Leverage your expertise to provide cutting-edge technical advice and support, driving customer improvements and maximising profitability.
• Create and deliver compelling, customised solutions that meet customer expectations.
• Close sales projects and navigate contract negotiations to a successful conclusion.
• To achieve sales targets, budgets and sales margins.
• Complete sales reporting activities, maintaining accurate and up to date information on the CRM.

Professional qualifications

We are looking for someone with the following:

Previous experience within a sales/ business development position

• Excellent commercial awareness
• Background in rendering, biogas, anaerobic digestions (or similar)

Personal skills

The Area Sales Manager role would suit someone who is:

• An excellent communicator and strong relationship builder
• Comfortable will travel to meet customers.
• Efficient and organised
• Strong negotiation skills
