MET Technician
Salary - £35,000 - £40,000 per annum
Hours – 37.5 hours
Northwest Based
We currently have an exciting opportunity working with a nationally known, leading accident repair groups at one of their sites within the North West area. This role will feature the need to strip and refit the mechanical and electrical systems of damaged vehicles. You’ll also be expected to carry out 4-wheel alignment checks and adjustments on vehicles to customer’s complete satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Carrying out repair operations to prescribed methods and standard.
- Carrying out electrical and mechanical repairs to damaged vehicles.
- Keeping accurate and comprehensive lists of additional parts required and communicate these findings to the relevant departments.
- Ensuring vehicles are prevented from further damage.
- Become familiar with Health and Safety and COSHH requirements that relate to your function.
Experience:
- Ideally, you will be an IMI/ATA qualified MET Technician with strong Bodyshop experience and hold a full, UK driving license.
- Have a strong work ethic to provide the best quality service.
- Be a team-player.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task.
