Our client is a global manufacturer, supplying into various types of companies. They are looking for an experienced Quality Technologist to join there R&D team at the head office site.
Role & Responsibilities:
* Manufacture and assess test samples, ensuring adherence to detailed specifications.
* Execute and report on detailed test plans, collaborating with the project team to ensure milestones and objectives are met.
* Oversee and maintain equipment, ensuring regular service schedules, calibration, and routine maintenance activities are carried out promptly and effectively.
* Develop and innovate new test methods and measurements to enhance testing capabilities, directly contributing to investment plans and the future direction of development projects.
* Participate in process development and production trials at manufacturing sites, which may require occasional overseas travel (typically one week or less in duration).
* Operate and manage testing equipment, including humidity chambers, salt spray testing units, gauges, spectrometers, furnaces, embedded printing systems, and large clean rooms
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
* Experience in a technologist, quality or laboratory focused position
* Driving License
* Experience working with materials of polymers
