My client is seeking a Roofer to join their Responsive team in the Skelmersdale area within the Social Housing sector.
The role involves undertaking repair and renewal roofing works while ensuring effective communication with the scheduler, residents, and line manager.
Candidates should have previous experience as a Roofer on refurbishment projects, with relevant trade qualifications (Level 3) and a full UK driving licence.
This full-time, permanent position offers a salary of £33,000, along with a van and additional benefits.
Experience in the housing maintenance sector is preferred but not mandatory, and a CSCS Card is required.

My client is an established business who operate within the Social Housing sector and are looking for a Roofer to join their Responsive team within the Skelmersdale area. This is an opportunity to work with a well established business with a great reputation, who are working on a long term framework with the Local Authority.

Key responsibilities will include:

Undertake repair/renewal roofing works.
Communicate effectively with the scheduler, residents, and line manager.
Work safely and in compliance with Health & Safety and safeguarding requirements.
Remain up to date with technical and legal requirements of skill area.
Work in partnership with other operatives to complete repairs when required.
Complete work sheets detailing work undertaken and materials used after each job undertaken, via a PDA.

Experience required

Previous experience working as a Roofer on refurbishment projects and have the skills to deliver small projects and repair work. Ideally you will have experience within the housing maintenance sector, but this is not a must.

You will also have relevant trade qualifications (Level 3) and a full UK driving licence - CSCS Card is also a requirement.

This is a full time, permanent role with a salary of £33k + van and benefits.
