We have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Operative to be a key player in our fast-paced warehouse environment in Skelmersdale.

Our client is an international leader in the manufacturing and marketing of fast-moving consumer goods.

Job Description:

  • Working on a production line packing and unpacking household products
  • Labelling and stacking products on to pallets following a layer pattern
  • Monitor products and carry out basic assessment and quality checks
  • Identify and report poor quality and/or damaged products following waste product guidelines
  • Follow all Health & Safety and Environmental requirements that are defined on work instructions or communicated in training.
  • Working closely with team members to meet production targets to meet the clients goals
  • Following production plan via packing instructions and First article checks to complete tasks on a production line.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills with basic numeracy skills
  • Previous experience in a similar roleis desirable but not essential
  • Team player and high attention to detail
  • Close inspection is a requirement to the day to day role
