Job Title: Warehouse Operative

Shift: Full-Time, Monday to Friday
About the Role:
We are looking for a dedicated Warehouse Operative with a focus on inventory management/cycle counting to join our team in Skelmersdale. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract, with the possibility of extension based on performance and business needs.
As part of our warehouse team, you will play a critical role in ensuring accurate stock levels and efficient inventory management. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with previous warehouse experience, particularly in stock counting, who are detail-oriented and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct regular cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
Perform stock counting and reconciliation to identify and resolve discrepancies.
Assist with the organisation and maintenance of the warehouse to ensure efficient stock flow.
Update inventory records in our systems, ensuring data accuracy.
Support the team in receiving, storing, and dispatching goods as needed.
Ensure compliance with health and safety standards at all times.
Collaborate with the inventory team to streamline processes and improve stock control measures.

Working Hours:

Monday to Thursday: 07:50 to 16:45
Friday: 07:50 to 12:10

Enjoy a half-day on Fridays and a consistent, structured work schedule!
Requirements:

Previous experience in a warehouse environment, particularly in stock counting or inventory management.
Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Good numeracy and data entry skills.
Physically fit and capable of handling manual tasks, including lifting and moving stock.
Willingness to commit to a 12-month contract with the potential for extension.
