An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Management Accountant for a 6Month FTC

In this role, you'll manage monthly financial reporting for profit & loss, cash flow, balance sheets, and working capital. Key responsibilities include producing and reconciling Trial Balances, preparing and submitting financial data on schedule, and collaborating with stakeholders to analyse and improve business performance. You'll also develop financial reports, handle statutory and tax returns, oversee budgeting and forecasting, and ensure accurate standard costing. Additionally, you'll create detailed business cases for capital expenditure and key projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver monthly financial reports for P&L, cash flow, balance sheets, and working capital.
  • Produce and reconcile Trial Balances in line with control frameworks.
  • Submit financial data accurately and on time.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to analyse and improve financial performance.
  • Develop financial reports to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Handle statutory and tax returns, including VAT and import duties.
  • Manage annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Take ownership of standard costing, driving accuracy and improvements.
  • Prepare comprehensive business cases for capital expenditure and key projects.

What You Bring:

ACCA, ACA, or CIMA with 1-2 years of post-qualification experience.

  • Skills: Strong analytical, communication, planning, and time management skills.
  • Attributes: Proactive, resilient, and capable of working independently or collaboratively.
  • Experience: 3-5 years in manufacturing or pharmaceutical industries preferred.
  • Tools: Familiarity with Oracle, QuickBooks, and Hyperion is advantageous.
