Role: Customer Service Advisor

Location: Taunton

Hours: Full-time, 36 hours, Monday - Friday, 9:30-4:30, Saturdays 9:30-12.

Salary: £25,400 P/A + on-target annual bonus of 8% dependent on performance

Job Duties

Be the First Point of Contact: You will warmly welcome customers, both in-branch and over the phone, ensuring their first interaction is a positive one.

Engage and Understand: By asking insightful questions, you will uncover and understand customers’ needs, providing tailored solutions that truly make a difference.

Listen and Tailor Solutions: You will listen carefully to each customer’s unique circumstances and offer personalised solutions that meet their needs, ensuring the best outcomes for both the customer and society.

Proactive Outreach: You will proactively reach out to customers over the phone, identifying their needs and discussing how you can support them.

Maintain Accurate Records: Using internal systems, you will ensure customer records are up-to-date and accurate, with a special focus on identifying and supporting vulnerable customers.

Adhere to Policies: You will understand and adhere to policies, standards, and controls, with comprehensive training and coaching to support you in your role.

About you

  • Must have experience within a customer service environment, face to face or virtually.
  • The ability to work well alongside others, with a ‘one-team’ mindset. 

  • The ability to react fast when the day gets busy and handle a wide variety of different customers with excellent time management. 

  • The desire and ability to grow, adapt and change whilst accommodating business needs and priorities.
