Accounts Manager, Skipton area, £35-£45,000
An opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Manager to join an independent firm of Chartered Accountants in the Skipton area. This is a full time position, part time hours may also be considered.
You’ll ideally be ACA/ACCA qualified with at least 2 years post-qualification experience. Qualified by experience or PQ can also be considered.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-respected, friendly, and steadily growing team. Whilst this is a site-based role, there will be an option to work one day per week from home, plus one Friday WFH on a rota basis.
Their core hours are 8.30 - 4.30 (they can offer some flexibility on this)
Duties
· Assisting with workflow management and job allocation
· Working closely with the Directors
· Managing your own client portfolio
· Liaison with a variety of clients including preparing and reviewing their financial statements
· Input regarding accounting systems and ongoing developments with Making Tax Digital
· Supporting junior members of the team and assisting with their development
Experience Required:
· ACA/ACCA and 2 years PQE (preferable)
· Experience of working in practice is essential
· Some supervisory experience or an ability to be able to oversee a small team
· Career driven
· Experience of supporting a diverse range of clients (professional services, service sector, construction, manufacturing, retail, agriculture)
· Experience of working with Xero and TaxCalc would be preferred, training can be provided
