As a Finance Manager, you’ll be the financial backbone of the team, reporting directly to the Group Financial Controller. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, includes:

  • Crafting and presenting monthly financial statements that tell the story of the business's success including balance sheet, cashflow, profit and loss, funds flow statements, annual budgets and the monthly management report.
  • Analyzing and reviewing cost management performance to ensure they're always on the right track.
  • Coordinating the new starter and leaver process, and managing payroll with precision.
  • Staying ahead of the curve by keeping up to date with financial standards and legislation.
  • Tackling any ad-hoc duties that come your way with enthusiasm and expertise.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Ideally AAT / Part Qualified with a passion for financial control systems and budget setting.
  • Proficiency in MS Office 365, especially Advanced Excel and Word. Bonus points for knowledge of Sage Line 50!
  • Experience with large data sets and the ability to manipulate data.
  • The ability to produce management accounts and provide analysis.
  • A commercial mindset that understands how different facets of the business work together.
  • A personality that’s accurate, precise, inquisitive, reliable, and determined with a positive outlook.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to influence and make an impact, coupled with a dynamic communication style.
