Main Responsibilities

So, what will you be doing?This role has a broad and varied remit and the successful candidate will have responsibility for duties including:

  • Pack products to the highest quality standard, compliant to regulatory dossier and in accordance with the current GMP guidelines and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) and Packing batch documents and comply with their individual responsibilities to GMP.
  • Attend and comply with any in house training or on the job training.
  • To ensure the efficient and safe use of machinery and equipment.
  • To keep strictly to Packing methods as laid down in the documentation and raise any issues or errors to the Line Lead, Packing Specialist and/or the Shift Manager.
  • To ensure all equipment is clean and maintained in good working order and where deficiencies are found informing the Line Lead, Packing Specialist and/or the Shift Manager.
  • Achieve the highest standards of housekeeping, Cleanliness and Personal Hygiene within the department.
  • To notify the Line Lead, Packing Specialist and/or the Shift Manager, as a matter of urgency, if there has been any serious failure of safety or GMP which could affect staff safety or product quality.
  • Any other reasonable request made by a senior member of staff (providing they are suitably trained.

  • Experience of RCA (Root cause analyses techniques) would be beneficial
  • Previous experience in a Pharma environment is desirable but not required
  • Understanding of QMS - CAPA's, CC, NCR etc, and proven industry experience from a regulated GMP manufacturing environment would be useful but not essential.
