Working alongside a highly experienced team, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth transactions and first class client service. Responsibilities for Legal Assistant / Paralegal will include:
  • Support Fee Earners with diary management, booking client appointments.
  • Liaise with clients, solicitors, and third parties to ensure transactions progress smoothly.
  • Update and use of divorce portal to accurately upload documents
  • Prepare and organise legal documentation with precision and efficiency.
  • Manage case files using the firm’s case management system, ensuring compliance at every stage.
  • Preparation of client correspondence and court documentation.
  • Process invoices and maintain accurate financial records, supporting smooth operations.
  • Proactively handle client enquiries, providing clear and reassuring guidance.
  • Work collaboratively with the team, assisting colleagues and contributing to a positive workplace culture.
 What’s required to be successful:
  • Prior experience in family law department 
  • Great attention to detail to produce work / documentation which is consistently of a high standard.
  • Familiar with MS Office packages.
  • Excellent communication skills and high levels of attention to detail.
  • A positive, flexible, can-do attitude.
