An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Paralegal / Legal Assistant to join a family department of a well-established legal firm. This role offers excellent benefits and a competitive salary.

As a Paralegal / Legal Assistant, you will provide comprehensive administrative support to Fee Earners, ensuring alignment with Client and Colleague Charters.

You will be responsible for:

  • Manage client matters efficiently using the Proclaim case management system, ensuring compliance with standards and regulations.
  • Oversee diary management, scheduling client appointments and meetings.
  • Draft client correspondence through audio typing, word processing, or digital dictation.
  • Handle client and third-party calls, enquiries, and requests professionally and in line with the Client Charter.
  • Manage incoming emails, post, photocopying, and general administrative tasks.
  • Prepare court documentation, including e-bundling and uploading documents to the online divorce portal.
  • Assist with client billing and account ledger management.

What we are looking for:

  • Previously worked as a Legal Assistant, Family Paralegal, Paralegal, Legal Secretary or in a similar role.
  • Ideally have legal experience in family department.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office applications and case management systems.
