Are you an experienced Site Manager looking for your next challenge? I am working exclusively with a local property developer, who specialise as a residential house builder based in North Yorkshire to find a talented individual to oversee and lead the delivery of bespoke, high-quality projects.
The Role of the Site Manager:
As a Site Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of multiple residential and commercial construction projects across Yorkshire and Lancashire. Leading teams on-site, you'll ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities for the Site Manager:
- Project Leadership: Oversee all stages of construction, from pre-construction planning to post-completion.
- Budget Management: Monitor project costs, ensuring efficient resource allocation and adherence to budgets.
- Health & Safety: Champion health and safety, ensuring compliance with regulations and maintaining a safe work environment.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections, guaranteeing all work meets specifications and expectations.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between the client, contractors, and the in-house team, ensuring clear communication and swift resolution of any issues.
- Procurement & Logistics: Support the procurement process and ensure timely delivery of materials to avoid delays.
- Problem Solving: Address challenges proactively to minimize delays and cost overruns.
What We're Looking for from the Site Manager:
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in residential construction management.
- Strong knowledge of UK building regulations, construction methods, and health and safety standards.
- Proven track record of managing multiple residential projects.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality.
