WELDER / FABRICATOR - NORTH YORKSHIRE - PERMANENT - £36,000 - £41,000 + OVERTIME

ARM are working with a leading construction materials company who have a global reach and we are working to support them on the recruitment of a Welder / Fabricator to join the team in North Yorkshire, close to Skipton.

About You:

You will have any of the following experience in working career and will be considered with training offered for any aspect needed;

  • Experience of Welding ARC and TIG.
  • Fabrication.
  • Mechanical fitting for plant.
  • Agricultural working with farming equipment.
  • Vehicle mechanic.

Due to the location of the site, driving is essential, unless you are living very close to the remote location.

What you will be doing:

This position will see you providing mechanical fitting, welding and fabrication to onsite, heavy plant equipment. This is working outside mostly, so you need to be prepared to work in all weathers.

This position is based close to Skipton. This is a full-time position and will see you working Monday to Friday with some weekend flexibility needed, as well as shifts in the future. Overtime rates and unsocial working is covered and will be extra to salary advertised.

What you can expect in return:

The base salary range for this position is between £36,000 - £41,312. There is opportunity to earn more and typically people in this position earn between £50k - £55k with overtime and shift allowances.
