Semi-skilled sheet metal Welder -MIG & TIG required for a successful manufacturer who produce a range of standard and bespoke products in thin gauge sheet metal, the work is both challenging and interesting, manufacturing a variety of products.

As the Sheet Metal Welder you will:

• Read, interpret & work to engineering drawings to produce high quality assemblies using TIG & MIG welding
• Work with 1mm-3mm thick stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel
• Also work on punching and folding machines
• Cut metal using saws and guillotines
• Work to a high-quality standard

As the Sheet Metal Welder MIG & TIG you will have:

• Strong welding skills using MIG and TIG
• Experience of welding mild steel in an engineering environment
• Ability to read engineering drawings
• Ability to work independently and be self-motivated
• Good work ethic and keen to learn new skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Be hard working and conscientious with a can-do attitude

Benefits:

• Monday to Thursday - 7.15 am - 4.15 pm, Friday - 7.15 am to 12.15 pm
• 39 hours per week
