About the Business Development Executive

You will be part of a driven sales team in a fast-growing business and enjoy the challenge of developing sales of quality poultry and meat products into the Irish and British markets.

Key tasks

  • Develop sales with new and existing customers with Irish and British markets.
  • Assistance of meat and poultry development within the greater business, in addition to developing of own accounts.
  • Arranging and attending customer/potential customer meetings.
  • Attending Trade shows.
  • Achieving sales targets and profit margins, in line with company expectations
  • Identifying and developing new business opportunities, including new clients and new products.

About You

  • This role will suit an individual who has excellent knowledge and experience of the British & Irish meat market. The ideal candidate will have:
  • 10 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Product knowledge of various meats, poultry and pork is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, time management and planning skills.
  • Strong network of wholesale contacts in the UK.
  • Excellent commercial awareness.
